Scrapbook Weekend Retreat: April 2009

Had to share these wonderful comments about ccl; Please feel free to chime in;

I just want to thank you and all your girls for such a wonderful time this weekend!! I had such a nice time with my great big table and all my scrappin’ sisters!!! I know I can not begin to fathom the amount of energy and time you and your staff put into this Camp-Crop-A-Lot, but it was greatly appreciated on my end!!! I completed 15 layouts- many were kits that were created by your talented staff and I scraplifted many more layouts from my Masterpieces book using my Masters’ Kits. How lucky I am to have such wonderful resources. Thank you again!! When Meredith saw the pages I had completed on some of her activities she had the biggest smile on her face…it makes it all worthwhile!!! Please know how very much I appreciate you and your very capable, creative, and delightful staff!! VL

Let me say that MMM is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that you continue to do CCL for as long as you can-it is so much fun, relaxing, no other place like it. I appreciate what you and your staff do and I thank you all for the inspiration you give. Spread the word. SL

OnOnce again I had a great time at CCL! I got 15 layouts done all with a lot of journaling- that is a lot of layouts for me- I must thank your staff for all the help with my OOPSing. Loved getting my tickets for completing layouts. You and your staff are awesome. No other scrapbook store, Hobby Lobby, or Michaels can compete with you. AD

Please let your staff know how much I enjoyed my second CCL. We met new friends at our table and really enjoyed talking with them. Each time I attend, I feel like I am able to accomplish more pages than the time before. The atmosphere really gets you into the scrapping mood! Thank you so much for offering so much to scrapbookers! CR

Hope you survived this weekend. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated you and the MM staff for this great weekend. I know with all big events like this, there may be ladies that forget WHY they are there, but you should know HOW MUCH we love you for all do to make this weekend fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. Despite getting there late both mornings, going to church Saturday afternoon, walking to Nifa's for a margarita, and visiting, I was still able to complete 12 pages. We missed Jade and her "Knock, Knock" jokes!! LOL

I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to these 2 weekends each year (even more now because I don't get to crop as much as I used too). I realize how much work you guys do and I just want you to know I loved it. I can't think of anything that went wrong, which I'm sure from your end there were problems, but I didn't see them. The food was great as well as the atmosphere great. I know I am rambling, but that is because I really had a great time. I believe even my daughter got a lot done this weekend! Thanks again, try to get some rest and enjoy your trip to CA. VB

Today I signed up for your Masters’ Kit Club and I was wondering if I would get your Christmas Kit that was sent in January? My friend and I just scrapbooked for the first time and we attended your weekend retreat. We both loved it. We are booking for your July retreat and we both plan to a few classes before July. The scrapbooking was super. We were both able to accomplish a lot of meaningful pages. GD

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy....what can I say??? Yes, I can't wait to "Set Sail for CCL" even if it is only to sail away in a ballroom filled with women in pajamas (instead of a boat full of skinny women wearing bikinis) ha ha ha!!! Can't wait!! DB

Can't wait for CCL and I haven't even completely unpacked from the last one! My favorite thing about CCL is spending time with my friends that I don't get to see enough! I didn't know how important that really was until my "best" scrapbooking buddy couldn't make it once - it just wasn't the same! Arrival at CCL is always exciting because while setting up your workspace you can visit with your "scrap sisters" as they arrive and set up too. I like to walk right in, but the demos were always fun to look at, as well. pb

There are so many wonderful things about CCL that I don't even know where to begin! But I'd have to agree with Pam that spending time with scrapbooking friends has to be at the top of the list!! DQ

I can't wait to set sail in July. I love getting away from my troubles at home. I can relax, visit with friends, have margarita (or 2), and scrapbook. Thanks Tammy and crew for putting together this wonderful weekend escape! VB

One of the things I love about CCL is walking around the room visiting fellow scrapbooking friends and looking at their layouts. You can get some wonderful ideas just wandering through the huge room too. I always enjoy seeing the layouts (especially photos) of my friends - getting a glimpse into their lives. Sometimes I feel like I know their families, even though I've never met some of them. It always amazes me how we all pretty much "preserve" similar memories - birthdays, sporting events, school events, friends & family. We truly are a sisterhood!

The first morning of CCL is so much fun!! It's so nice being greeted as you walk in door by all of the friendly MM staff! Seeing all of my friends and the goodies at the table is awesome! I like to walk right in and get my space set up too - since it usually takes me a little while to get in the groove. HB
